These terms apply to your use of cookingconversion.co, including the unit converters, the ingredient pages, the oven temperature tool, the recipe scaler, the guides, the printable chart and the contact form. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean the operator of cookingconversion.co.
What the site provides
cookingconversion.co is a free website for cooks. It converts cooking units, estimates weight-to-volume equivalents for supported ingredients using published references, converts oven temperatures between Celsius and Fahrenheit, scales ingredient quantities and explains measurement in written guides. No account is required and no fee is charged.
Acceptable use
You may use the site for personal, educational and any other lawful purpose. You agree not to:
- attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site, its server or its contact service;
- use automated tools to send large volumes of requests, or to copy the site at a scale that degrades it for others;
- send spam, advertising, malware, or unlawful, abusive or harassing content through the contact form;
- misrepresent your identity or impersonate someone else when contacting us;
- use the site in any way that breaks applicable law.
Your calculations and messages
Amounts and ingredients you enter and the results you receive are processed in your browser and belong to you. You may use, copy and share them freely. If you send us a message, you confirm that its content is yours to share and does not break anyone's rights. How we handle messages is described in the privacy policy.

The site's text, guides, tables, design, logo, photograph and code are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property rights, and all rights are reserved except as described here. You may:

The DejaVu fonts used on the site are distributed under their own licence.
King Arthur Baking, Land O'Lakes, Donna Hay and other names mentioned are trademarks of their owners and are used only to identify the sources of the references we cite. cookingconversion.co is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of them.
Accuracy and no warranty
Unit-to-unit conversions are exact for the selected measurement definitions and are tested before every release. Results that cross weight and volume depend on published ingredient references and on how you measure, and are estimates. The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. Check important quantities independently, follow your recipe's own instructions, and see the disclaimer for what the tools do not do.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by the law that applies to you, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss of ingredients, dishes, time or opportunity, arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its results. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, and nothing affects rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
